Reiki
The first known descriptions of Reiki are in ancient Tibetan manuscripts. Dr. Mikao Usui rediscovered this healing technique and took it to Japan in the mid 19th century. He called his discovery Reiki. Reiki heals by flowing through the energy fields, raising the vibratory level in and around the body. This treatment helps to bring balance, harmony and tranquillity to the recipient on a mental, spiritual, physical and emotional level. Reiki healing will help to improve most conditions and also helps to enhance the effects of other treatments and therapies.
Christine Godwin – Reiki, Reflexology, Indian head massage
Christine has been a practitioner at the Hogarth clinic for over ten years. She began as a reflexologist and at this time was also working as a volunteer for the NHS as a cognitive behavioural therapist. After a number of years Christine also introduced reiki healing into her practice here. Gradually more and more clients became interested in experiencing this method of healing. Again, after a number of years, christine introduced indian head massage to her practice.
Her experience in treating clients is diverse, ranging from the treatment of infertility, skin conditions, digestive and respiratory disorders to working with clients to assist in detoxification, release of stress and tension, and on a mental emotional level to restore energy, balance and creativity. Christine enjoys working with children, young people, people with disabilities, with anyone who may want to encourage their innate healing potential on a physical, mental or spiritual level.
Christine welcomes any enquiries, so if you are not sure, would like more information, or want to find out if the treatments she offers are right for you then please call the clinic and leave your contact details.
The three treatments can be experienced as separate methods of restoring and balancing the health of the individual or in any combination. Christine will advise clients on the best approach to their specific condition or disorder – so there is no need to make a decision before booking an appointment. All appointments last for one hour, although in some cases, if a prior arrangement has been made, the treatments can be shorter or longer.
